oh yeah, it's been a while.
you missed that intro, didn't you? you did, i know. i did.
i'm packing up right now. i'm going to spend four days in one of the cities i've always wanted to visit as long as i can remember: paris. i'm still not sure about the language (years and years of mentally challenged teachers kind of ruined it for me but i'm recovering) but the more i read, the more i made plans what to see and where to go, the more i got sucked into that grandeur, that feeling of overwhelming greatness. and of course i'm going with the one person i could wish to accompany me which makes things even better.
to think that about a year ago, the only thing that was like it's now was the weather is kind of scary. but in a good way, in the way that change is always scary and that chance while not necessarily being good almost never is bad.
so, thanks for popping by, for still sticking up with my (now really, really) occasional ramblings.
as a little bonus for you and especially you, i'd like to point you towards a band that the most recent episode of house (a show i've completely fallen for for entirely the wrong reasons) hinted me at: civil twilight. they reminded me a lot of aqualung but with a little more energy, a little more drive. listen to human, it's great. and you can get the album for free - or if you're as crazy as i am, pay $5 for it. have it your way.
see you around!
