she's my second ireland

two major revelations today.
the first one being that an idea i have been carrying around with me for a couple of days won't probably be possible to realize anytime soon. possibly ever. preconditions morphing.
the second one being the headline. although lyrically deceiving, this bears some true meaning.
i always wanted to go to ireland, as long as i could think properly about wanting to go anywhere. this dream of mine has turned a mere country into that fairytale place full of green grass, sheep, music and jolly (this probably being the one and only acceptable place to use this term) people. and if i ever went there, if i ever managed to get the courage and all the other stuff needed, it'd probably be a lot different from what i'd expect. perhaps even disappointing.
but perhaps... it could be worth it.
