it's absolutely amazing. with pixar films, you really can't be disappointed. well, obviously you can if you generally despise anything close to being commercial but otherwise, you can't.
i'm always fascinated by their attention to detail. when you're watching cars (like i did tonight), try to watch out for things like newspaper headlines, bumper stickers, huge letters on zeppelins, bugs and all the other small things that make this world so incredibly believable.
you almost forget that it's fish, monsters, toys or cars you're watching (and you're only reminded of the fact on rare occasions but then - always - with comedic intent). you see through the cover and (if you're able to ignore the sometimes quite horrible synchronization) everything becomes real in your head.
one last hint: stay until after the credits. even the stuff during the credits is absolutely hillarious if you know a little about the earlier pixar movies.
ah, a good night. somehow.
