it's been... ah, come on, let's forget about that.
somehow it feels good to be back here, back in this tiny editor thingy writing in this place that i really feel i neglected for too long.
i just went through some of my older entries (and while doing so realized how frightfully few there were for 2005) and was immediately inspired by them to write a new song.
it's strange, ideas for lyrics seem to pop up in my head with no real background. i suddenly think about places or people or situations and that kicks off a train of thought that leads at least to scribbles but, at the moment, mostly to almost finished lyrics. amazing.
another thing the old diary entries did was show me how little changed over the last year. i got to know some very nice people, finished some things i've started, started some things that appear as if they'll never be finished, but the basic situation remains. the basic condition remains.
well, let's not be negative in the first post after, well, let's just say after a long time. after all, a new year is about to begin and perhaps it will end some confusion. that would be a start.
so, enjoy your christmas holidays if you have some or the silence at work if you (like me) don't.
