eternal sunshine

i know a lot of good movies. well, at least i know a lot of movies that are really good by my standards.
for me, a good movie doesn't necessarily have to have a great story, amazing special effects or a soundtrack that makes my dolby system jump out the window:
it has to be gripping. moving. touching.
i watched eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (the movie with probably the most horrible german title-translation ever) on friday and... well, it was one of these movies. yes, it looked amazing and the acting was great and the effects were really good and the sound was just as it had to be... but the composition was more than its elements. synergy. at its best.
and a movie that gives you such a quote within the first five minutes must be good:
