that's something i really really hate.
there is this amazing commercial (see here) for american express starring robert deniro which features music by philip glass. i've been desperately looking for that specific track but, until now, have been quite unsuccessful.
i found out that it's supposed to be 'award montage' from his string quartet no. 3.
hear this? string quartet. if you listen a little closer to the soundtrack, there are flutes and horns and... all the stuff that isn't really part of a quartet.
any ideas? i need this piece!
