"it's been a while."
yeah, i know, i said that before. but this time is different. every time i neglected this little diary of mine before (and, remember, this is my only diary, there is nothing else!), it was because of me going on holiday or me having nothing to write. now it was different.
about, phew, three or four weeks ago, i noticed that strange things were happening to my pc. it crashed, apparently without a reason, several times a day, it was slow and... generally ugly to use. after a lot of hassle, i found out that one of my memory-modules (yes, one of these 'pay- a- shitload- of- money- to- get- really- good- stuff' things) produced errors.
so i did what everybody would have done, i called support. heh, and that was where problems started to emerge.
incidentally, i had decided to go on holiday for six days, and it seemed like a good idea to send the memory-modules back the day i left so that, when i got back, new ones would be here waiting for me.
or so i thought!
long story short, i waited until today until i got working memory. i saved about 200€ because i got a cheque by alternate (the guys i had bought the memory from, never buy there!) and purchased the memory somewhere else - a lot cheaper.
and now there's so much work to be keeping up with and so much changing in my life to be writing about... but now i'll just fire up winamp (for the first time in what seems like a hundred years) and play quake. oh, and go to the theater. and repair a laptop. and do some rpg. and... go to school. more of that when there's time and silence.
