buying that tom mcrae-album may have been one of the... well, either best or worst decisions of my life. having a playlist consisting of some songs by david gray, the i am kloot-album, the tom mcrae-album and parts of the damien rice-album... it's the perfect thing for such a night.
nobody's around. my parents are off to sweden for three weeks (good thingtm).
still, there's nobody to talk to, either online of offline. and although offline would be far a better thing, i'd be satisfied with anyone online. almost anyone. well, someone, in fact. not someone special, just... someone...
"hey, could you stand another drink, i'm better when i don't think, seems to get me through" (i am kloot - proof).
somehow it works. somehow it always does. i'll get up tomorrow, far too tired to go to work but i'll shower and get dressed and go anyway. i'll do something here and there, have lunch, do something else here and there and get home (well, in fact i'll have to go shoppping before that, tomorrow). and when i've gotten home it's getting darker already and i'll make something to eat and do something here and there and when i roll to bed right before the crack of dawn, i wonder why i still haven't managed to write that story down that's sitting in my head.
that's a really stupid thing, that is. when you know what story you'll write, when you've got the main plot worked out (yes, there are always bits and pieces missing but they always fill in while writing) but everytime you start writing that down, nothing makes sense anymore. you lack words, you lack ideas... and then you delete everything and, perhaps, start all over again. and again.
for this story, i've made four attempts so far. if that won't be a good one, i'll give it a good hard kick and throw it away again when it's finished...

well, just as a somehow-not-so-important side-note , my new pc arrived. just for showing-off:
    athlon64 3400+
    msi k8t neo
    1024mb corsair memory
    250gb sata-drive (+80gb and +40gb old hd's)
    radeon 9800pro

and still...
