do you know that feeling when you did something, only you, just you, something of which you didn't know whether it would turn out to be good or bad? something that nobody, noone in the entire world could help you with? it's just you with your task. either you succeed or you don't. either you get the applause or the strange, misunderstanding looks. this post is entitled 'euphoria', guess why ;o)
well, quite a huge concert at school, yesterday evening. more than two and a half hours, lots of stuff to play for me. i had been asked by the leader of our gospel-choir whether i would be able to play the piano while they were singing. that was on monday, last week. he gave me the songs on wednesday with the words 'it's not that difficult, really'. well, err... it was a hell of a lot of work to get into them (well, i had the notes but he also gave me the cd which helped a lot more) but it also was a lot of fun. especially the fact that we started the concert with the most difficult song. i had never played anything like this before (well, not in front of an audience *g*) but it was amazing. the song was 'it don't mean a thing [if it ain't got that swing]', perhaps you know it...
well, got to leave now, four lessons of incredibly strenuous school-life waiting for me. btw, good luck to everyone in the maths-class for today - they're writing a test! *thumbs up*
