a typical day in that life

somehow it's strange. i have loads of stuff to do but today i really like it. today i even managed to start ;o)
perhaps the only reason for me to like what i'm doing is that it's all more or less enjoyable stuff... quite logical, isn't it?
at first, a friend of mine brought his pc over here on monday and asked me to reinstall it. so now there's a little cute computer standing on the floor right beside me reinstalling smoothly without much hassle or stuff to do. nice ;o)
the next thing is my english-test. after having written it about two weeks ago i got my mark yesterday. the funny thing is the following: in contrast to almost half of our intensified class i haven't been to the usa. okay, i spent four weeks in gb about four years ago - but that doesn't count really. however, as my teacher said, i am the one who made least mistakes. of the whole class... and asked me to copy my answer to the second question. or, well, not to copy it (because you can't bother anyone with my handwriting) but to type it on the computer, print it and copy it as a handout for the class. somehow insane.
the third thing that i'm doing right now (yes, all three things at the same time - multitasking at it's finest) is scanning some pictures a friend of mine made from our theater-stagings. the pictures are really great and i intend to put at least some of them online. there are just a few things that make me feel less good about all that:
the first point is the image-quality. my scanner is rather old and - well, the pictures don't look too good... i'll have to work on that!
the second point is the speed. did i mention that my scanner is quite old? well, a cute little parallel-scanner, in fact... i just finished my 11th picture, 23 more to go. and it has already taken me half an hour!
the third point is the contents of the pictures. this is maybe the most important point. there are photos that make me sentimental at once - because this will be my last year in this theater-group. there are pictures that make me laugh - a good thing ;o) but there also pictures that make me... that make me think.
especially one picture has evoked my thinking and my memory. it's a picture of... well... i won't be too detailled right now. let's just say that it's the picture of a special person in a way that - makes me in some ironical and cynical way ponder the meaning of it. i... well, perhaps i'll put that one online, too. we'll see.
as long as that hasn't happened yet, you can still have a look at some of the old pictures - with comments ;O) go see [german stuff].
