finished exhaustion

it is done. these days full of hard work are over. today we staged the 'midsummernight's dream' twice. on the one side i'm incredibly happy that we made it and that everything worked out so perfectly. it was better than i even dared to hope.
but on the other side [as usual in this diary] there are some negative aspects. on the one hand this staging tells me that it is 'the beginning of the end' [an almost perfect quote made by 'helena'], the beginning of the end of my career [?!] in our school's theater-group. it's not that it was perfect for me, it is not that it perfectly suited my needs. more or less it was the opposite. but it all felt so nice and cosy in there...
another strange thing regards my role. as i stated before, i played demetrius. after the staging everybody was like 'oh dear, everybody was so incredibly great! puck, the craftsmen, everybody was so funny and just perfect for their roles'... great... and what did i do? perhaps i mentioned it before but i think that those couples (or at least the male parts of them) are the most boring characters in this play. they simply have no personality. they change their opinions from one second to another (of course not willingly, but they still do) and never show any of their real feelings. everything is just so artificial and unnatural. it's not that i want to be in the middle of everything but i worked very hard for this piece and nobody seemed to notice.
well, it's always like that... i'll always be the man in the back that leaves unnoticed while the others get the applause. i just am that type of guy. who cares?
